Thanks to Avvenia’s experience and distinctive know-how as a leader in energy efficiency, the innovative new AST plant generates steam without using fossil fuels. The project is the result of highly technological works which have optimised the qualitative and environmental performances of production at Terni's historic steel works.

The works lasted for approximately one year, involving a hundred specialist engineers and technicians and only local companies, with a total investment of € 4 million.
